Once PERM is approved, the employer files Form I-140 with USCIS to classify the applicant under the EB-2 category.
Step 5: Green Card Application
Inside the U.S.: File Form I-485. Outside the U.S.: Complete DS-260.
Step 6: Biometrics, Interview, and Approval
The applicant completes required steps and, if approved, receives permanent residency.
